​David Lamont Brown was born in Kansas City , MO in 1988. At the age of five he began his dance training with his Grandma, Linda Brown who received her Ballroom training through Arthur Murray Studios in St. Louis. By the age of nine David was performing Ballroom dances from Mambo/Salsa to East coast Swing and Waltz. David was raised in a dancing family with three of his four siblings involved in dance.

David currently competes at the ALL STAR level in West Coast Swing. He also teaches nationwide and holds many 1st place wins in both Strictly Swing and Jack-n-Jill competitions from across the nation.

Locally, David is President & founding member of St.Louis Destination Swing dance club and offers a friendly learning environment for groups or private lessons of all ages and skill level and choreographs wedding dances.
